Initially the work LA_10 first appeared on December 29, 1999 on the wall of Spanish Kitchen on Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles. It was the first invasion of the artist in America. Ten more invasions were done in Los Angeles between 1999 & 2018.
Some nineteen years later, Invader created the replica to his iconic work, the alias LA_10, on the occasion of his solo exhibition titled “Into the white cube” presented at Over The Influence from November 18 to December 30, 2018.
Today it’s more than 214 works whom invaded the urban landscape of the Californian megapole. After Paris, it’s most likely the second city in the world with the most works by Invader.
